April 10 Project eduCONNECT - Top 16!BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE - PLEASE VOTE FOR US!
Okay. So we made it into the top 16. That's great news!
And so I found myself getting involved with this blog as part of the requirements for ICSG (Imagine Cup Singapore)
To sum-up, we were told to create a blog in windows live spaces to keep a record of our team's progress in this competition.
Rumors have it that this blog is going to have weightage in our final score. I guess we might as well not take any chances.
I have a new found respect for bloggers. I really do. For the past 30 minutes I've been clicking around every possible link in this spaces.live.com until I came to the realisation that I'm unable to set a background image of my own. How is that possible? Then I found myself wandering to other blogs with all those fanciful backgrounds and can't help but to feel utterly stupid. Even as I type now, I've yet to figure out how to change my background image. Hence the plain layout. Forgive me.
Anyway here's something we normally know as "About Us".
eduConnectors is our team name. eduCONNECT is our project name.
We are from Nanyang Polytechnic - School of Information Technology.
Team Members (Not in any particular order. Perhaps in height.)
Oh Teck Wee (otherwise known as Twee)
He's the tall handsome dude with those small little eyes. Totally versatile and has one hell of a hard disk inside his head. Capable of memorizing the entire textbook in a day. He is highly manipulative too.
Franklin Chuah Shang Yu (otherwise known as Fishie)
He insists of being next on the list as he claims that the only reason Jiajun is taller in the group photo is because of his hair.
The self-proclaimed mastermind in the team. Even though it is "self-proclaimed", I have to agree. He has the wits beyond a prodigy's.
Tan Jia Jun (otherwise known as JJ)
He's the gel of our team. The one who willingly does everything that we don't. That's greatness behind the scenes. A cassanova. Sporty, reliable and totally a MAN. Unlike the other two who has the capability of complaining the entire day just because they got an A or B for software engineering. (Just to emphasize on the point, they have distinctions for everything else.)
David Seow Han Yuan (otherwise known as David)
Me. I could go on and on saying how amazingly kind and generous I am, how an impossible mix of brains and muscles could go so well together to the extent of godliness in everything I do, in sports, in arts, to even the pursuit of knowledge and none of you would believe me. In order to be fair to the others, I'm going to say it. Basically, I'm SHORT. and hell no, I'm not proud of it. As for anything else about me, it's all written above, just that you don't believe it. that's all. muahaha.
